What are SleepAway Homes?

SleepAway Homes are an easy and inexpensive temporary housing solution for the most comfortable stay during your stay in either Washington, DC or Chicago, whether for business or leisure. This is NOT a timeshare or shared housing situation.  These are extremely well-kept privately owned condo vacation rentals in both Washington, DC and Chicago, very near some of the most popular attractions in both cities. 

For monthly or corporate guests, pricing for these condos rival pricing for long-term local corporate housing, which oftentimes DOES charge for amenities you might pay a premium for at a hotel.  At SleepAway Home, you will NEVER pay for a luxury or amenity and we offer complimentary downtown parking for the DC rental and complimentary computer, high speed internet usage, and unlimited domestic calls at both the DC and Chicago locations.

The Washington, DC Condo

This beautiful city condo is located in a quiet and secluded part of a diverse multicultural residential area in Washington, DC right up the street from the Capitol Hill offices, Downtown DC, and a 5 minute drive to RFK Stadium and the historic Langston Golf Course, which offers full service golfing/range opportunities daily from dusk until dawn! 

The DC condo is also close enough to major tourist attractions, but tends to attract patrons who enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of the rambling tourist areas, while having the luxury of being able to drive and park near major DC attractions for free.  Most of our guests for this DC condo drive to the property or take cabs.  The nearest metro station is 20 blocks away, but we offer complimentary 24/7 parking at nearby Union Station to accommodate this slight inconvenience for all of our guests.  

This unit sleeps up to 6 people comfortably and offers 2 bedrooms, one full bath, one queen bed in the master bedroom, one large sectional with queen sofa bed in the living room, and one full sofa bed in the second bedroom, with a desk, computer, and high speed internet access. The sleeping quarters are ideal for families or anyone requiring a fully functional living arrangement.

Union Station is a 5 minute drive away, where there is a movie theater, trendy shops, and diverse food court.

Also Near The Condo:

Safeway grocery store and Starbucks coffee shop 8 blocks away

CVS drugstore 7 blocks away.  You can see the U.S. Capitol from here and is directly up the street.

The back of the woodsy and scenic U.S. National Arboretum is literally footsteps away from the property.

Downtown DC and Chinatown are also less than a 15 minute ride away and the nightlife of burgeoning H Street is just a few minutes away up the street.
